Your Battle is My Battle (A Short Poetry)

You look at me like you want to stay,
But your outer being says otherwise.
Bowed my head down and pray,
Your victory is such a prize.

I am hopeful, but in self-denial,
The longing for your strength renewed.
With this supplication, indeed essential,
I need endurance as I felt subdued.

Please listen to my petition,
Never surrender in your struggle.
Hope my presence cause alleviation,
Because your battle is my battle.

We might get stuck in a situation which someone we love is in a struggle. They are in this battle which they might feel they are alone. Only them can really feel the difficulty. But if only we can take those causing them afflictions, we would. But things may seem unfair. All we can do is show our love to that person. Make our presence strengthens them. Make them feel they are not alone in their battle, until they become triumphant.
