Today September 6th is my birthday, I decide to write this birthday poem for my self
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MYSELF
In the dark yearn for light
Struggled myself in
Yet she pulled with force
How it hurt was her story to me
A nightmare to many that saw me cry
While to best wishers
Lots of merry they enjoyed
It was written on her face
The true joy of having me
Now grown up; wished I was tender
To tell of her story while she was young
Now plus one; fears of wrinkles
grey hairs of respect
I wish none of it in my twenties
Until the years comes with decades of happy plus one
wishing myself happy birthday
