"Broken Dreams" : An English Poetry

"Broken Dreams"

Under the blast of the moonlight

And the million stars in my sight

All I wanted is to scream

While watching the faded pictures of my dream.

I'm singing an unfinished song

Hearing the broken melody of the gong

Reading poems out of rhyme

Knowing you will never be mine.

Your decision was made like a blink of an eye

Cutting the connections between you and I

Believing that it hinders for us to grow

Hoping all those reasons are true.

Forgetting the days that I've tried

Letting this tears run dry

This is a battle I don't want to retreat

But I know someday I'll be back on my feet.
