'MAYBE' - poem #2

More than friends, less than lovers
That at least, how I read the label
In her mind, may be is different
I wonder how much time, do we have left.
Should I gamble to answer the riddle?
Or should I play it safe, and we’ll be friends forever?

Maybe I’m thinking too much
Or maybe I’m just afraid.
Maybe she likes me too
Or maybe she only wants someone to talk to.
Maybe she’s waiting for me to say it
Or maybe she doesn’t want me to say it.

More than friends, less than lovers
For so long, that’s how we stay together.
In her heart may be is different
I wonder how much chance, there is for me to take.
Should I bet only to lose her?
Or should I keep my silence and certainly keep her?

In this world, in this moment
Only one thing is for sure; I want her, oh boy, I want her.
Risk is the tongue of what we're going to be
Shall I not take it so shall I taste defeat.
Or maybe I should stop saying maybe
Wish me luck, wish me luck.
