“Judgment is Not For Us”

Roaring surf, windblown sand, hazy sunlight over a platinum sea.
What better time enjoy a walk, to expand your mind and
Think of what Should be.
Is there any way for us to know, or even to consider
What ‘should’ be?
We can think of what we would like to be,
But ‘should be’?
That would be judgmental.
That is not a Property meant for us.

If we had the power to impose our own
“what should be” on the world,
What a truly Horrid place it would be.

Rather, we should accept
That the world IS as it “Should be”.

Oh, I know,
Things are bad in many respects, but those
Are almost always exclusively due to us meddling.

“Will I be handsome, will I be rich”, isn’t
That the song?
Que Sera, Sera, whatever will be, will be”.

We should not
Be overly concerned what others think of us, if we are
Honorable, Generous and Caring,
That is Enough.

Be yourself, and As you do this,
Try to be nice.

“If we all tried to be Nice to
Each other, What a nice
Place This would be.
