Poem: Halloween Horror DatesteemCreated with Sketch.

in poetry •  6 years ago

We'll nap on the couch watching Halloween movies and bad piano scores
with your pants undone and a hand down my sweaties like nude skin more
comfortable than a blanket.

You fell asleep before taking me from behind, finally removing my pants
and asking to remove a foot so you could shove between my legs;
I wanted you to stay close with your hot breath and promises in my neck
and not pushing high to drive deep and hard but with distance.

After, we watch the sequel and share popcorn from the bag
complaining that it isn't as good as our typical purchases.
