Poem: LegssteemCreated with Sketch.

in poetry •  6 years ago

I removed most of my hair with razor and cream,
like you remove your beard, slow and with hot water.
Some days you don't notice the smoothness of my efforts,
and others, after weeks, you'll say things like "your legs are so nice."

They're as nice as you want to touch them,
hours at the gym flooding sweat
and muscles with blood toning them raw to pull them tighter on bone.

My legs are offerings to your pleasure,
gifts I frame for your touch, your splitting waist,
and worship like I'm the altar of your happinesses.
