My Fan Crush- DAY 5 OF MY 100 DAYS OF POETRY JOURNEY

I'd taken a 2 week leave off my 100 Day Poetry Journey, but am back. And I want to keep it consistent this time.
So today I wrote a poem about "My Fan Crush"!

By the way, over the weekend, on Friday, we had the Grand Azania (Poetry Night) with the theme "I know a Poet". It was awesome meeting incredible poets from Uganda Christian University and listening to amazing Poems. I will give more updates and pictures about how it all went down. But for now here is today's piece

MY FAN CRUSH

I got some confessions to make, this is real, hear me out
I think it was 25th of December
My Concert: “Miles to fame” of course I remember
I saw this girl, she got me confused
As in she was so cute
I wish the crowd will just excuse
The whole time I was starring at her, only if she knew
Suddenly she looked at my side and I quickly raised my hand
she got me nervous, all I did was to pretend
I was praying to God to give me a chance
And He did so now I know: I’m in love with a fan!
So later I went back stage for an interview
Didn’t realize she was right behind me,
She tapped me on my shoulder and said: “Hello Please excuse
Am a big fan of yours I can sing all your tunes”
As I looked into her eyes, my legs started shaking
My next words I was contemplating
And the feeling was so amazing
But then she walked away, my biggest lesson
Cos at least I should have asked a question
But I was too careful trying not to give the wrong impression!
