Cherry Hill Gate - Retrospect

Cherry Hill Gate.jpg

I loved you
in the autumn chill—
those endless nights
of weeping my soul;

Even now, I
Grow mellow
As leaves turn bright—

And watch
You outshine
The autumn light.

Bright leaves
The colour of your hair,
Tangle in long grass
And tarry there;

And I benumbed
By autumn’s seer,
Remain entranced
After all these years.
