Hades Again

I hear there are lovely sunsets in hell
Where my desire for you is sending me
Have mercy, upon me, Love,
Be my Persephone

My lips burnt
By the sun of your mouth,
Leave me
Unable to speak
Or paint you with words.

I don’t want you seen
By other men…

I want only my dream
Where you and I
Finally make sense.

But do you want to be with me—
Under rough skies
And homeless rain
As runaways?

Then, let our love be
An Eleusinian rite—
A night bird silent
In secret flight.

What heat invades this voice! Forbidden loves not only promise us hell, but also a world of delights. In these verses there are questions and promises, escapes and furtive loves. They say that when you are in hell, you reach heaven. Nice night, @johnjgeddes!

Yes, there is a beautiful side of evil and the paradox of temptation, Nancy - as always, your response is poetic and lyrical, not to mention, perceptive. I always look forward to your response

I enjoyed your words.

Wow really lovely sunsets and excellent poem...!

Wonderful poem! was a very nice read!

Genial pieza de literatura lírica, es increíble que se puede tomar de un concepto tan intimidante y que puede llevar a ser expresado como algo tan sublime
