Marianne

in poetry •  7 years ago

The next niece in the series of my poems. I have 8 Filipino nieces here and this is the 2nd poem of one. They are all just friendly poems.

Marianne is my niece and I love her so
She always remembers to bless with Mano Po
She often brightens the room with her smile
She’s a lady of intelligence, a lady of style

When I first met her, seems not so long ago
I didn’t think about how much she would grow
She’s grown into a woman and she’s married now
She was just small yesterday, so please tell me how

I hope that she will be happy the rest of her life
She is a good mother and also a good wife
Since knowing her my life has been ever so grand
She’s my favorite Philippine niece named Marianne

@deeday31 is gettin rich here in poetry and travel 😊

I don't really need to be rich, but I'd like to be able to do what I want, when I want, especially travel (with hotels & food). I don't really want much more than that.
