The Power Of Love...

Your eyes absorb mine,
I can never stay away,
Your admirable charm,
Always on front row display.

Mesmerised by your beauty,
Inspired by your passion,
Jealous of your perfections,
With the greatest intelligence you could ever imagine.

You're forever on my mind,
And always in my heart,
Pulling at the strings,
Widening the love scars.

The peace in your tears,
And the reassurance in your soft voice,
Radiates nothing but tender care,
To everyone's instant rejoice.

So when death do us part,
And as you lay me down to rest,
Know that your soul is deep within mine,
As I give you my very last breath.

Thanks for reading; I hope you enjoyed my poem! I thought I would write this poem to express the feelings I have for someone very close to my heart. The feeling of love, in my opinion, is one of the most powerful emotions we can possess as human beings.
