Time collapses on us
caterpillar into butterflies
dying smiles on regrets
camouflaging into old age
darkness after darkness
beauty dies a miserable death
like musical notes on guitar
ebbing away like the smokes on cigar

Time collapses into us
as hour glass trickling sands
a blue flame comes alive
quenched by animosity
risen like ashes on a cold night
the night is dark and blooming
coruscating into daylight
like a baby cuckoo bird
galloping into the uncertain skies

Time collpses into nothing
a baby's shriek, sweet gurgles
with beards on grave yards
deserts with watery oasis
on dead weeds and frozen mummies
succumbing to tenebrous thoughts
sailing into haunted islands
inhabited with negativity
crooked road filled with weary men
sojourning to their tombs

.

Time collapse
crippling the past into fading memories
and bringing futuristic dilemma
burnt hopes, smiling agony
as the clocks ticks and tock
a paradox where men are no more
but we're still the healthy stock
bringing minimalism to existence
where nature is flamboyant
and death is sharing it's blessings

Great poem, @josediccus. Time is one of those concepts I'd rather not think about.
Ironically, today I have run into 3 posts that, from different perspectives, discuss time and our conceoption of it, and what we do with it.
I like your irony at the end. We may be undeserving and insignificant in the great scheme of things, but yet, we are the ones who came up with all this conundrum.
Time sucks (literally) :)
We can't see it, and yet it scares the bejesus out of us.
We can't feel it, and yet we find it heavy.
We want lots of it so that we can waste it.

I think it is about time time claim independence from us

Brilliant engagement level sir, I truly appreciate all your brilliant comment really and you taking time to engage on my comments, it's really an honour to me

Thanks, @josediccus. The honor is all mine. You have a brilliant mind. Blessings.

Time truly is a fickle mistress. It's one that we could never command. I really like how you depicted it here. She could be cruel, but that might be her kindness to us who couldn't comprehend the full breadth of her reach.

Sorry I haven't been around all that much. Life has got me beat. Happy to see that you are killing it in here, buddy! I hope you've been enjoying your time as a dolphin. Look at your rep go! In a month's time I bet you'd be overtaking me!

The price of steem is getting me limited as a dolphin bro, but what can I do lol, I'll become a minnow again soon lol, well I'm doing just fairly well lol, o hope to do better.
I think if you return again we can run this place again really hahahaha, miss you so much
