Hear them rattling somehow singing,
Maybe rejoicing the outpouring of the rain,
In the rice fields that sip the sweet overwhelming drops,
These four-legged dwellers chorus their joyful welcome,

Bathe in the coolness of rainy season,
They never miss amazing a curious wanderer,
Of their talking midst the paddies that made their dwellings,
karr karr karr kokakok the sound of their talks,

Hop hop hop they jump all their lives,
Even when seasons are done with the rains,
Never hopeless for the next outpouring,
Of the rain for a life, we forsake,
