“Once upon a time, I dreamt I was a butterfly, fluttering hither and thither, to all intents and purposes a butterfly. I was conscious only of my happiness as a butterfly, unaware that I was myself. Soon I awaked, and there I was, veritably myself again. Now I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly, dreaming I am a man.” - Chuang Tzu
By leaving aside space and time, we can only intuitively infer the existance of other dimensions. A reason Physicists study black holes is that they are inherently exempt of space and time. Could these phenomena be our entrance to other dimensions? Some people have taken the time to contemplate and theorize on that which surpasses our naturality.
Whenever I think in the possibility of other dimensions I also think on the limits of our universe. Everything is lineal or circular or squared or whatever but entangled, confuse and within countless forgotten and unknown crossroads. THIS is the labyrinth, sometimes quite simple, other times extensive and passional and sometimes embedded in the bitterness of pettiness. This is the labyrinth to which we are condemned as human beings and which we travel with no fucking idea, not even a shitty little glimpse, of completeness or death. However, this labyrinth is inevitably traversed by any conscious being, sometimes unconsciously.
The incredible thing is that the limit of the universe is also an indicator of an even larger universe. An infinite idea where everything is no longer understandable under the parameters of space and time, leaving aside geometry, entanglement, confusion and crossroads. Is there anything more labyrinthine than the unknown? THIS is the real labyrinth, the master one, the one we will never know how to travel because we are already doing it with no fucking idea, not even a shitty little glimpse, of spatiality or temporality. Either way, the almost total unknown that this master maze presents excites us and nourishes our consciousness.
The asymmetry of this mirror is like the dream of Tzu, an asymmetry of hierarchy that questions our shared cosmogony.
