You And Me (An Original Poem)

We embarked on a journey, beautiful
never to look back.
We embraced dreams, hopeful
in spite of every setback.

We took each step, with care
living moments everlasting.
We took every breath, with promise
making memories outstanding.

We made each other, whole
the beat to our hearts.
We created this love, true
a blessing to our lives.

Myriad dreams, countless memories and multitude of emotions - we share so much in the magnificent and boundless journey of love. Love can transform, it is inspirational, it brings out the best in us, and sometimes the worst. Yet it starts with us, when two singular entities come together to experience a unique magical power that necessitates the need to look at life from a different perspective, one that is more hopeful and more beckoning of a promising future. This journey is not about me, it is not about you, it is about us. Let's make it count, together!
