They don’t wanna know.

They want to feel superior.

They don’t wish to engage.

They wish to dominate.

They may use eloquent speech,

And put on affectations of open-minded kindness

And intelligence.

But when it comes to the simplest observations

Logical deduction.

They find themselves scandalized.

Intolerable.

Then they’ll attack.

But more than that, what they really seek to do

is drain your energy. Siphon it mercilessly and

endlessly.

Because they have no imagination inside.

And feel hopelessly vacant.

Stop wasting your time with them.

And CREATE!

Somehow, your poem is very much connected to my day to day life. To create is to be really. And still very few people understand it.

Wow. I love the ending @kafkanarchy84. Not at all what I expected. Inspiring. "CREATE"

Create and defend the past creations of yourself and your friends. It is sometimes difficult to know when to defend creations from my enemies though. Sometimes it is required. At other times it is a complete waste of my energy (life). That's where wisdom benefits us. The older and more experienced I get, the better I know what to defend and who to walk away from.

Well said, and good point. 💚

I wish more people would realise the power they have to create.

I wish more people
Would realise the power
They have to create.

I'm a bot. I detect haiku.

Wasting time on anything other then what gives you joy or purpose seems, well, a waste. I like this.

Excellent work, mate! This is something we all should do but sometimes we let the heat of the moment and our feelings to get in the way.

Staying calm during harsh times is always easier said than done! One needs to breathe in and exhale slowly... before even opening the mouth. Right? 😜

excellent words very realistic friend
Happy day

Engagement is the key to co-creation!

Invite we the seekers of truth and understanding.

So people like Adam Kokesh, amirite?

Amongst others ;) Though, Kokesh needs to be dealt with to some extent, I feel, as he is a known scammer.

Well said, I very much agree with this. Why it's
almost as if though you stole the thoughts right
out of my head. Aside from our past disagreements,
you're going to get a one-hundred % upvote from me.

I like the art!

I invite you to check my poems. Though they are quite different, they can be interesting for you.

exactly, we are here to create, not dominate or manipulate, so create something feckin wonderful xxx

Caught this from @dbooster’s resteem.

To me, the act of creating is a beautiful thing. I’m always humbled by the experience that from nothing, I brought an idea into existence. I see my characters in any of my writing projects as my babies.
:)

As for the energy vampires....yes, it’s a continual challenge to identify, disengage and avoid. They’re very seductive to begin with and you’ll always learn something about yourself from them.

A thoughtful poem and eye-catching street art!

This is so true. I think this is often why we are drawn to them in such a way...to learn.

Thanks for such a thoughtful comment. I really resonate.
