Being with you. (Poetry)

Like finding money in the pocket of an old jacket;
or perhaps, as when the infamous test turns out to be negative;
like when it was the guy next to you whom that deranged bird shit on top;
like when the blackout happens right after saving something important;
like waking up without a hangover after having drunk enough
to knock down an elephant, or two;
like when that missed note, actually improves the melody;
like, when that gas, which decides to escape in public,
resolve not to sound, nor smell;
like sneaking into a wake to be able to cry freely;
like when anxiety doesn't melt you to bed
nor hormones make you want to kill yourself, or someone else;
like your parent's food; like taking a shit at home;
like a good blowjob after a long day of work.
Yes; I admit that I don't know how it feels to win the lottery
but I guess it would be something like this.
Like, when that criminal passes by greeting without stealing you.
Like that, for example, is being with you.
