Well that's what poetry is all about, right, the interpretation of the poem. The writer and the reader may have different interpretations, but that's okay. Your feelings are derived from your life experiences, so they probably won't be the same as someone else's. I like writing poetry too and I'm trying to put more feeling into them. Poetry is a way to outlet my thoughts in a way that flows better than the normal chaotic cloud of idea and feel that normally occurs within.
