The Deserted Trail

Solitary shadows in the sun
between the lines as heat destroys my run
In desert dunes you lead me away
dreaming of water to fill my tray

Searching for shelter to hide away
away from the torture of the deadly sun ray
lead me to water and quench my thirst
i beg for my life against the deserts fist
