Heaven's New Song

This is a poem I wrote for a friend of mine

Heaven's New Song

From the old testament into the new.
God’s holy angels flew.
The melody in heaven has not been the same.
Since Satan has fallen, the Seraphim now call His name.
“Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty,
The whole earth is full of His glory.”
They sing this song all day long, from Isaiah to Revelations.
Our heavenly Father desires a new song by His new creations.
Old things have fallen away, behold all things have become new
In Christ we sing hallelujah, whereby grace is our tune.
The Spirit is moved even if we sound like clanging cymbals.
High notes, off tunes. Our Father loves His holy temples.
Regardless of some resounding gongs. Our Father loves these new songs.
In His ears nothing can go wrong. Abba is excited to hear our new song.
The angels at his throne want to sing along, but their rhythm is too perfect to enter our new song.
They sing about His holiness, but us we sing about His love for us.
We’ve been redeemed from the curse of the law, who can begin to ignore His grace anymore.
The angels were boring Him with “holy, holy, holy.” When we sing in tongues He sees His own glory.
Singing in the Spirit can even make a nun horny. There’s a bash in heaven, it’s turning up like a party.
With just one soul saved new wine and champagne flows the whole day.
Even the elders in white robes, moonwalk and celebrate.
We cry for the dead, but all of heaven is twerking instead.
Each song we sing in Christ goes triple platinum in the first in the 1st minute.
Acapella or Hillsong style, His grace abounds by the Holy Spirit.
