The poem of the day: the return

in poetry •  7 years ago  (edited)

Hello to all of you let me thank you for reading my poem:

For three years you left us

Our three children I took care of

It's true young she was beautiful

They had just opened these wings

But the thunderbolt is ephemeral

You are now alone on this earth

I loved you more than madness

I have offered you my body my spirit

I am unhappy to see you

For three years since you left

So alone I felt

A crying days of the night

You come back knocking at our door

As in autumn a dead leaf

I do not see you in this place

From this suffering that leaves me

Of course I still love you

You were my only one love

It will take a lot of patience

To erase all my sufferings

Hoping that this painful past

Disappear one day forever...
