Just In Case

People will say I believe in God
But in reality, it's not true
If people believed God was real
They wouldn't do the things they do

They would not lie or steal or covet things
They would not sleep around just for the thrill
They would not cheat someone just to make money
And they certainly wouldn't kill

The government would not be so corrupt and worthless
And the same goes for our schools
God is nowhere in the curriculum today
That might break one of man's rules

People would understand what gender they are
Insanity would not be everywhere
People would help and look after each other
Today's people don't seem to care

To most people, God is an insurance policy
Just in case things should go astray
They don't know what God wants or if he lives
And they don't really care either way
