This is a short story that our 9 year old daughter wrote inspired by Renoir's painting 'Path leading through the tall grass' and she wanted to share that with you today.
This was a good name for it, because sweet smelling lilac’s surrounded the path.
People often walked Lilac Path and when they were tired, they sat down under the big oak tree and ate lunch in the shade.
The gardener, Mr. Cobsan, had a house that was right next to Lilac Path.
He ate his lunch under the big oak tree every day.
Everyone loved Lilac Path very much and took good care of it.
In fall they gathered many Lilac seeds and then in spring they scattered the seeds everywhere and weeded carefully when the blooms came up.
Many people took daily strolls on the almost always beautiful and much loved Lilac Path.
