Being Me, Being You - An Original Poem by Hope Huggs

Wow, I really love this post. Your writing makes it sound as a monologue effortlessly written in poetry. Happy to have passed this tonight!

You made me remind of something I wrote a while ago actually, but didn't have the chance to post it yet. Would love to share it with you already as I really have enjoyed your posts for some time by now!
Will tag you in the final post as token for reminding me of it (although not intentionally hah, just really enjoyed this post)

I’m not trying to be someone
Not really bothered with fitting in
If it comforts you, then call me a rebel
While I pour my cup of care another drink

I'm not questioning your labels
For ages they've been used
Just don't waste your breath
On convincing me I'm just 'a bit confused'
