IN THE WORLD I TRAVELLED LONG
AN ACCESSORY I COULDN’T DARE MAKE
TAKING STRIDES LONG AND BOLD FOR WELCOME DOORS I SEEK
BACKS TURNED I RECEIVE, YET LEECHES CLOSER DO COME

OH! EARTH WIND AND FIRE, WHICH FIRST MUST LEAD THIS RACE
PRISONERS, SERVANTS AND SLAVES, ALL SUBJECTS ARE THEY, NOT SO?
ACQUINTANCES, CLIENTS AND FRIENDS, WHICH MOST CAN STAND THIS TEST

A ROAD SO LONELY AND NARROW I THREAD
EMPTINESS AND VOID STARES
SHOUTING OR CRYIING, WHICH FIRST COMES TO MIND
WHAT CHOICE CAN BE MADE, THIS VOID THEN TO FILL
