Forgotten Things
Hidden away
Long forgotten
Lie dormant the ones
Whose bodys have rotten
The passage of time
Turns flesh to dust
But the soul continues
The minds adjust
Endless life
Always waiting
Until the time
Of liberating
Devout believers
Break chains of time
And give up the self
In their prime
So ancient things
Can live once more
To walk the earth
And eat its core
