Just a short poem on the topic Abortion which has been a major discussion in different parts of the world. Weather it's safe to legalise it or not. Enjoy!!!

Abortion

What expensive fun
That unplanned pleasure!
When the heat of feverish passion,
Imprisons the sense of reason;
In its tail for sure

Life, a treasure
In the normal course of nature,
Nipped off at its bud, then punctured
Butchered and siphoned with pressure
His contribution to humanity denied

The temerity,
To tamper with longevity,
And what conspiracy!
A trio stands judged
For aiding and abetting infanticide
And for violating foetal rights

The innocent killed and guilty spared
Such jungle justice uncompared...!
Could 'might is right'
Be the unwritten code of Human Rights?

In my country Nigeria, it's officially illegal but nevertheless the rate of abortion increases day by day and no measure has been taken by the government so far to curb this.
What's your stance on this debate? Should abortion be made legal????
