IMPERFECT ME

I am not perfect
Yet no one cares
I stayed up all night reading my book
And you just believed without blinking, because I passed the test

I have told many lies
I have held no truth
But still, you hold me in high regard
Worshipping the ground on which I walk

Seems all you really care about
Are the works, of which I show you
That which is hidden is a forgetful occurrence
My cross alone, to bear

You encourage my lust
You encourage this sin
You let me walk away
When I have hurt the world

I want to be perfect
I want to be true
I want to stand for something
Both inside and out

    i really don't think they are or should be forgotten, because these things we do and no one sees actually define the very core of our beliefs

      Waoh this is nice, it reminds me of a crush i had in my younger years, even when my freinds told me how much of a misfit she was for me and all the flaws she had, i just could not relate, i virtually worshiped her. But you can guess how superficial and short lived those emotions can be. Acknowledge the imperfection and that will help created something perfect in your eyes...thanks again!
