Liverpool In Black & White

liverpool in black and white;
what a splendid, fainted sight.
rays of comfort in the dock,
binded by a loveheart lock,
redder than the chinian wine,
make it pleasurable to dine
in the tate gallery,
writing tons of poetry.

mersey ferries to my right;
liverpool in black and white.
skies are filled with planes so high,
that the people passing by
do not notice them at all.
artistry is in control
of this city quiet and
difficult to understand.

pinot grigio in a glass,
while i'm witnessing time pass
slower than it ever did.
in my heart is where i hid
liverpool in black and white.
if i could, i would catch flight
and reside in paris city.
merci beaucoup, miss lady pretty.

sefton park in black and white.
underneath the tree, the sunlight
cannot reach my naked skin.
water comes from deep within
sefton's core, just like my love.
everywhere i look, above
all the benches, people sitting,
are these birds opposed to quitting.
