A poem before lovers' union. (Original Poem)

The anticipation of a lovers' union is a beautiful thing. I really like your 'opium' reference, and find the repetition of the word 'yet' very poetic; you emphasise the nature of what is 'yet' to happen, yet describe the experience as if you were reminiscing on a past relationship. The destruction of the concept of time, at least from my interpretation, makes love seem like the very mysterious, exciting, and also complex phenomenon it is. Thank you!

Yes, love is mysterious and is powerful in imaginations.

You are welcome! :) It's a dimension of its own, a realm in which many people dwell, yet not all manage to find their place there.
