the kind of loving on which i meditate

i’m lacking a sense of security.
where is the purity that i desire?
the day i retire, i still will admire
that internal fire; the one you inspire,
the one you ignite. spend this night
with me; delete all the memories
that i bring with me across the seven seas.
what are the penalties? how does one live with ease,
when the whole world is drowning is no melodies?
when there’s no rhythm, well, there’s no tune.
two lights above us; the sun and the moon.
when will we bloom? is it too soon?
maybe it’s way too late for ua to radiate
the kind of loving on which i meditate.
who knows for sure? am i secure?
no, but my love it, and my love is pure.
of that i’m sure.
