SOLUTIONS…

Solutions are like breezes,
changing with the wind.
Swirling in your mind,
hoping to get picked.

Some want another card
while others choose to stick.
And that's the very problem
…there is no real trick.

With thoughts of shiny objects,
greed that filled their hearts.
For how much is enough,
if the coffers are all full…

The promise of such power,
is always on the table.
But the actions of a crook,
are clear for all to see.

They scheme and lie,
fill you with false pride.
Just for the chance..,
to ply you to their side.

We're all in this together,
it's always been that way.
We've always had our problems,
with solutions far behind.

Some don't like the present day,
with people on the dole.
They scream and shout to privatize --
privatize it all.

Solutions are not easy..,
and they'll play you like a fiddle.
For those who win the fight,
are sure to win this war.

Some think it's far too late..,
we've gone past all that --
the mortgages and loans past due,
they want your very soul.

Solutions have been woeful,
I guess you'd have to say --
and if we are not careful,
they'll get to take it all.

Solutions can be tricky,
and require much thought.
With vision of the future
...knowledge of the past.
