I am silver in a blue room (Day 84 of 100 -- Poetry Challenge)

moonlight filters in
through cherry trees
over a locked trunk
onto the plank floor
pushing toward me
I lie on silk cushions
in a room without fire
it finds my toes first

What season is it? The fire being unlit May or May not be necessary. (Silly autocorrect capitalization).

I'm leaving that up to the you and your experience of the piece. For me, there is something to be said about contrast and mood as fire is such a potent symbol. ;)
