The night was getting lonely
I faced all these facts
Can I keep all the longing
I'll never know for sure ...
I have to admit
How in love with you
Is it wrong if I hope back
Love is over now I regret
Like a dream ...
I want to forget, all the love ...
But why not power
Want me to avoid your shadow
But why always just come ...
Why, why your face is always tormenting the soul
Though there's no substitute for you there
But I was disappointed, though I tried to feel
Have a love with her, but all in vain ...
I have to admit, How in love with you
Is it wrong if I hope back
Love is over now I regret
Like a dream ...
Tremendous. Each line is an entity onto itself, and each one holds a lot of emotions. I can feel, or should I say I interpret this as, you calling out in pain for a love that is no more, a love that will never return. It seems like the memories are hurting you, and you notice the destructive nature of them, despite the momentary beauty and bliss they bring, and thus you wish to forget. I have to say that the title really impressed me, and the poem didn't fail to do so either. Thank you for sharing this with us all. I hope your wish comes true and you forget, or at least learn to mould those memories into something less blue and more positive. :)
PS: If you are interested and have some spare time, I have some poetry on my blog too.
