I've rereading Shelley's "The Sensitive Plant," and I have finally found a good pic of the actual flower, which appears in popular scenes and posters featuring some girl softly blowing its petals away. A symbol of fragile beauty, Mimosa Pudica looks like this:
Then I wrote this short poem and used a painting by Dicksee, which the painter made specially to depict this peculiar sensitive plant of Shelley's, the vivid picture of Shakespeare's Ophelia, isn't it?
