Blur (a poem)

in poetry •  7 years ago

A vast emptiness outline Man's fate,
in a white glow as we ascend into an uplift, an uproar toward heaven, beyond all that we know.

Human experience, its filth and glory laid down, row by dirty row.

The uniformity that collides with its own deviant ways. Our disbelief neatly rests upon our heavy and messy conviction.

And you think of yourself as relevant yet to the gods you are obscure, a blur, an unknown, the question mark that lingers until it fades into the shadows that is your world.
