Bare Skin

in poetry •  7 years ago  (edited)

There you are again
knowing the ropes
trying to sell
the same clothes
you wear each day.
As if you wanted
to be bare
the entire weekend,
to show the blankness
of your plain skin,
and to invite pagan
fondle your facade.
Yet, you know,
Only yourself knows
That how much bare
you show
you're no spotless.
