Day 5 - Lemons

in poetry •  7 years ago

Day 5: Write a three-line poem about lemons without using the following words: lemon, yellow,
round, fruit, citrus, tart, juicy, peel, and sour.

I squeeze you tightly to make my favorite summer drink.
Often, you're paired with lime.
Using you as a weapon in one's eyes, ought to be a crime.

This one made me giggle.
