Reaching the surface of myself,
Truthful search with sincerity,
Illusory in and of-
Landmarks in familiarity.
Scaling of every single leaf-
About how it was then,
Communion with my grief-
Living life in zen.
Singing songs for the helpless-
Trying to hold on to you,
Floating on top, being selfless-
I doubt I'd ever make it through.
No single petal seemed to be-
Without scars and remarks,
Self-pity blinded me-
Stop worrying too much,
About those lurking sharks.
To learn everything in spring-
Adolescence, now history,
The fight with myself made me sing-
''Suffering, the key to the mystery''.!
