When We Can Not See Ourselves Letting Go

Counting every sinner,
A prevailing saint,
Colorful wisdom-
The philosopher's paint.

Choosing your demise,
Overladen dustbin to keep,
Not an easy glimpse;
What I deserved to reap.

Somewhat an unforgivable sin-
With self-pity, I'd scorn,
Agonizing death unwiser-
Then I was newly born.

Desiring to assail,
Simply put another veil.
Lift it up you will find-
Souls never grow pale.
