Save A Dance Lesson For Me

Save a dance lesson for me

Like you promised before

Yoiu went home to glory.

You know I can’t dance

I was born with two left feet

And no rhythm.

And you could dance

A double amputtee, and

You had more rhythm that I

Could ever dream.

You owe me

That lesson

The last time

We all ended up on the floor

Laughing hysterically

Because rhythm simply is not

In my vocabulary,

And I am not sure it’s

Something that could be taught.

Still save a dance lesson for me

I think the angels in Heaven above

Could all use a good laugh

As they watch me.
