It's spring again, and for us in South Africa that means rain! We really need it this year, so I figured I'd write a little poem to help it along ... hopefully it works!
One Spring Night
Soft winds bring a smell of surrender
As the Summer surrounds us once more
Rustling leaves echo sweet little whispers
Rumors told of a great coming storm
Blades of grass dance in darkness, joyous
For they know it's the season of rain
Come to wash the feet of all hopeless
Come to breathe life into us again
