MISSING SYNDROME

Where are thou?
Have you gone missing?
Or disappeared into the sad clouds
I sit at my window and try to peek through the trees
That sway to the wind’s tune

I watch as vehicles slowly drift by
And how motorcycles swerve heartless just to get ahead
I pray deep in my heart that you’re safe
The chattering and laughter of people around bring me back from my day dream
And reminds me not to miss you much

I step out
The streets are filled with loneliness
And this walk seems like the longest
Now I wish I never said goodbye
It was the hardest thing for me to do

Heavy are the clouds of my eyes
Yet they do not wish to pour out themselves
It hurts more if you don’t let it out you know
The white moon has no smile on her today
A pale look she has on

Does she feel my brokenness too?
I walk back into my empty room
Your perfume was the first thing that welcomed me
I lay my head to sleep
Hoping your soft kisses and caresses would bring me out

Out of the craving I have to see you again
I console myself with your scent that lingers on my pillow
And drift off into a world
Where they are no goodbyes
Only smiles,wishes and time eternal
