Are we here to see how many potatoes we can eat?
To see how many video games we can beat?
Or are we here so our souls can learn and grow
To gain in knowledge so we will know.
Are we here to rant and fuss and fight?
And to care only about our own delight?
Or are we here to learn to get along
And to consider others, especially when we're wrong.
Are we here just to gain material things?
And to enjoy the envy that all this brings?
Or are we here to gain the will to do right
And to strive toward good with all our might.
