Overburdened with memory

Death reaches out its hand
Knowing exactly what to do
Regardless if I'm rich or poor
Old or young
A name of fame
A dying flame

A friend of mine
A witness to my honesty
A witness to my darkest crime
An inspiration to my mind

Death reminds me of who I am
How to let go
