Love Has Found the Shepherd!

in poetry •  7 years ago  (edited)

Sometimes the Shepherd loses his way
as he is in-thrall over by his own dispute.
He squanders over the green meadows
under the scorching heat of the sun.

He bestows a shield--divine and robust.
He blankets the herd as if his own.
He collects them as if his own prize.
He strikes over enemies determined.

But the herd is not for him forever.
They shall be on their own.
They shall unravel the world's enigma.
They shall discover upheavals and feat.

This is his dispute.
This pulled him down.
This streaked an array of diverse instability
that ambiguity beckoned.

Fear superfluously succumbed him.
He drastically disjointed from the herd.
He ridiculed himself.
He faded on the faint hearth.

But Love has found the Shepherd!
So much time has been spent
to make himself lovable, more interesting.
But Love--pure and perfect--has found him.

The herd he looked after
was his Love.
He did not found the herd.
The herd found him.

Anxious he must not be, but
just happiness--pure happiness.
It's the smile he brought to them
that made them found him.

And forever, Love will find the Shepherd.
No matter how many times
he falls into cumbrous troubles,
Love will always find him.
