Song of the Stars

in poetry •  7 years ago

His life bequeathed to the Underworld,
eternally searching for Eurydice.
He sounds his lyre of gold.

Jupiter flies in majesty,
whisking away a Phrygian youth,
forever as heaven's
cupbearer.
