On The Edge Of The Moon

Dreams….
Floating and drifting.
Humming a melody.
Dreams….
Born from reality.
But never a reality.
It is a parallel world,
That runs along, in the same dimension but in a different space.
The elements are the same.
The protagonists are the same.
Same is the stage.
The song is the same too.
And similar is the story.
But, the situations and the plots are different.
Different are the twists and turns.
The sun and moon and the breeze is different.
The stars are a little brighter, the flowers are more fragrant.
The chamomiles dazzle whiter, your cigarette looks more flamboyant.
In my dream I can dream of you.
I can dream of telling you how much I love you.
And you tell me how much you love me too, in my dream !
It is just a dream….
A different reality.
I can run into your arms,
And feel your arms around me in a warm embrace.
I can hear your voice whisper my name like a caress.
Your touch, your breath, your glance -
It is just a dream.
A different reality.
I never thought of it more than a dream.
It is more beautiful in that world.
There is hope there and there is joy.
There is a smile on your face that reaches your eyes.
A smile that hides my name somewhere, I think !
Is it so bad to hold your hand in a dream ?
I know not how it happened.
Or when did the crime take place.
My body breathes in reality.
And my heart beats in a dream.
My soul lives on the edge of the moon,
In a different reality….
