telegraph
like a traveler on the wait for a flight
We occupy our minds with rumors
we listen to them
like a child in need of candy
hoping our elite clubs
buy the unknown Pele's of our time
And at the beginning of a new season
Happiness equal water much needed
after a long days work in the sun's embrace
We praise and rant
With love undying
throw jest at our friends at loss
as punishment for wrong analysis
At the meet of rival clubs
We shed tears for failed glory
when jabs are thrown at us
defensive we become like a mourihno team
we argue to keep our teams as best
in minds of others
Records are broken, records are bested and remade
we stamp them in our favor in our minds
and trash talk those that made us envy
Its a beautiful game indeed,
Wonders are scored, History remade
Legends are called, Records broken
Envy, love, hate, all called upon to make
the beautiful game of Soccer.
